Issues of local government activity were discussed in Kazan

A meeting on local government activities was held in Kazan. The event was chaired by Rustam Nigmatullin, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Economy of Tatarstan Airat Shamsiyev. He spoke about the results of 2018 according to polls of the population about the effectiveness of the heads of local governments of urban districts and municipal areas of the republic.

In the format of round table, the participants discussed topical issues of the activities of local governments: the state of hydraulic structures on the balance of local governments, and their compliance with requirements of current legislation; improvement of burial sites and transfer of land cemeteries to the appropriate category and implementation of legislation regarding the treatment of stray animals.
