Innovation Support Fund supported more than 1,200 Tatarstan projects worth 2.2 billion rubles

150 projects of high-tech companies, 600 projects of young scientists, 450 start-ups and 8 centers of youth innovation creativity. More than 1,200 Tatarstan projects were supported by Fund for Support to Development of Small Enterprises in the Scientific and Technical Sphere for 25 years. Innovators of the republic received grants totaling 2.2 billion rubles. These are the results of the Fund’s interaction with the Republic of Tatarstan. The results of the work were summarized in Moscow on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Fund.

It was noted that by number of supported applications, Tatarstan was traditionally among the top five leading regions. Annually projects of republican innovators are presented in the framework of the programs “Umnik”, “Start”, “Commercialization”, “Cooperation”, “TsMIT”, “Development”, “Most”, “Internationalization”. 4 best works were presented in the "Success Stories".

As part of the event, the General Director of the Fund Sergey Polyakov and the Advisor to the General Director of the Fund, Advisor to the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Ivan Bortnik were awarded with medals of the Republic of Tatarstan "For Valiant Labor" and expression of Gratitude of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan to the Fund team for their great contribution to social and economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan.
