The acceptance of applications for the All-Russian Startup Tour “Open Innovation” (Open Innovation Startup Tour) continues. This is a large-scale project in Russia and the CIS to find promising innovative projects and develop the competencies of start-up teams implementing high-tech projects.
It takes place in 10 cities. In the Volga Federal District, it will be held in Tolyatti (Samara Region) – on March 14-15 and Naberezhnye Chelny – on April 1-2.
The activities of the regional startup tour will include various thematic blocks:
- educational program for entrepreneurs, competition of innovative projects in 3 areas (information technology, biotechnology in medicine and agriculture, industrial and energy technology);
- business meetings with key market players, business angels and investors.
The top 50 market experts - well-known businessmen, innovative entrepreneurs, mentors, business angels, representatives of investment funds and development institutions will take part in the jury and mentor program of the Startup Tour.
The winner of the competition will receive a cash prize of 300,000 rubles.
The participation of young developers will allow them to plunge into an innovative atmosphere, communicate with successful innovators, present their developments, as well as see the presentations and protection of projects of other participants in the tour.

Startup Tour is held by the Development Fund of the Center for Development and Commercialization of New Technologies (Skolkovo Fund). The event is aimed at formation of start-up communities in the regions consisting of young talented entrepreneurs and authors of innovative projects, investors, representatives of technoparks, leading regional universities and research institutes.
