Proposals to the draft federal law “On Amendments to the Labor Code of Russia” are being accepted

The federal portal of draft regulatory legal acts conducts public discussions of the draft federal law “On Amendments to the Labor Code of the Russian Federation”.

The draft law proposes amending the Labor Code in terms of guaranteed cash payments to employees upon liquidation of an organization.

The employee is guaranteed the right to receive payments on the day of dismissal in the amount of twice the average monthly salary. Previously, the payment for the second month after the dismissal was not made if the organization was liquidated earlier than the employee had the right to receive it, and the employee was not employed. Similar changes relate to guarantees upon dismissal in connection with liquidation of an organization located in the Far North. The specified category at dismissal is paid threefold average earnings.

The measures proposed by the draft law will allow employees of organizations to get guaranteed by the Labor Code mandatory payments for dismissals due to liquidation of organization.
