Tatarstan citizens are searching for job through friends and the Internet. Scientists of the Academy of Sciences summed up the results of social research over the past 5 years

22.1% of Tatarstan respondents said that they are looking for job through friends and acquaintances, 21.1% - through the Internet. These are the results of a social study of employment in the Republic of Tatarstan over the past 5 years. The analysis was conducted by scientists of the Center for Advanced Economic Research of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The results showed that in general in the republic there is a positive trend in the level of registered unemployment. At the beginning of 2017, the unemployment rate was 0.57%. In 2013, it was twice as large.

A similar dynamics was observed in the coefficient of tension in the republic, calculated as the ratio of the number of unemployed to the number of available vacancies. As of January 1, 2018, the number of unemployed registered at employment centers exceeded the number of vacancies offered by employers 0.57 times, compared with 1.14 times in 2013.
