In the Republic of Tatarstan, the industrial production index in January 2019 was 100.2% compared to January 2018. According to Tatarstanstat, the volume of products shipped amounted to 203.4 billion rubles.
In mining, the production index was 102.5% compared to January 2018, processing industries - 97.4%, provision of electric energy, gas, steam; air conditioning - 106.3%; water supply; wastewater disposal, organization of waste collection and disposal, pollution control activities - 94.3%.
There is a positive trend in indicators in agriculture. In January 2019, agricultural organizations, large and medium-sized farms and individual entrepreneurs produced 30.8 thousand tons of livestock and poultry for slaughter (live weight), which is 0.9% higher than in the same period of 2018. Milk production amounted to 105.7 thousand tons (103.2% compared to January 2018), eggs - 98.8 million units (124.8%).
The volume of construction work amounted to 10.7 billion rubles, or 93.2% in comparable prices to the level of January 2018. 232.1 thousand square meters of housing were commissioned, including by enterprises of the republic - 141.2 thousand square meters, by population - 90.9 thousand square meters.
Freight turnover of road transport organizations not related to small businesses, grew by 4.4% compared to January 2018 (283.6 million t-km).
Consumer activity of the population remains. Retail trade turnover in January 2019 amounted to 72.4 billion rubles, or 104.0% in comparable prices compared to January 2018. The largest share in the retail trade turnover was occupied by non-food products - 57.3%. The share of food products, including beverages and tobacco, in January 2019 was 42.7%.
The consumer price index in January 2019 compared to December 2018 was 100.9%, including for food products 101.4%, non-food products - 100.4%, services - 100.9%.
