Improvement level of housing stock in Chelny was equal to 99.1%.

One of the most satisfied citizens with the improvement degree of housing stock is the residents of Chelny. This conclusion was made by scientists of the Center for Advanced Economic Research of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan after the analysis. A comprehensive sociological study of the state of housing and communal services of cities and regions of the republic was carried out in 2013-2018.

Naberezhnye Chelny showed high appreciation. The degree of improvement was 99.1%. In Kazan, the indices are equal to 94.4%, in Nizhnekamsk - 93.1%. Among the districts having only a rural settlement, Baltasinskiy district became the leader - 93.1%.

The research results shows that in recent years there have been positive changes in improvement of housing stock in the republic. In 2016, the proportion of comfortable housing stock was 75.1%, in 2013 it was equal to 73.7%.
