Submission of applications for presidential grants competition for development of civil society continues

Non-profit organizations of Tatarstan may apply for a grant from Russian President Vladimir Putin. Acceptance of applications for participation in the first competition in 2019 continues. Projects in the following areas can receive financial assistance:

- Social services, social support and protection of citizens;

- Protection of health of citizens, promotion of healthy lifestyles;

- Support for family, motherhood, fatherhood and childhood;

- Support for youth projects;

- Support for projects in the field of science, education, enlightenment;

- Support for projects in the field of culture and art;

- Preservation of historical memory;

- Protection of the rights and freedoms of man and citizen, including protection of rights of prisoners;

- Environmental protection and animal welfare;

- Strengthening interethnic and interreligious harmony;

- Development of public diplomacy and support of compatriots;

- Development of civil society institutions;

- Identification and support of young talents in the field of culture and art.

This competition is conducted by the Presidential Grants Foundation. In 2018, according to the results of two competitions, more than 3,500 projects received financial support totaling 7.8 billion rubles.
