From November 13 to December 11, they completed a three-module full-time study program. Deputy Head of the National Research University High School of Economics, Professor - Valentina Kirillina evaluated the work in the jury. She noted that each of the program participants knew all problems of development of SMEs in their municipality: “It’s one thing to know, and it’s another to structure those problems and the risks that can impede the large development of entrepreneurship in their districts. The task of our program is connected precisely with the fact that we help to identify additional opportunities for development of entrepreneurship in each municipality. The main objective of the program was sharpened on individual counseling. With the help of which they themselves found the opportunities that can be used for development of SMEs. The second task was that while helping to create a good entrepreneurial climate, it is important to understand that business should create additional jobs, new enterprises that contribute to collection of taxes, and these taxes are used to develop social projects and improve lives of residents. Each district identified its promising directions in development of SMEs. We have coped with this task”, Kirillina emphasized. According to her, the dialogue between the government and business played a particularly valuable role: “They voiced their wishes to entrepreneurs and in turn heard what they needed for development”.
