IV International Scientific and Practical Conference "Partnership for Development of Clusters" will gather more than 500 participants
From October 31 to November 2, 2018, Kazan will host International Conference “Partnership for Development of Clusters”. This was announced today by the Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, Oleg Pelevin, at a press conference in the IA "Tatar-Inform". This event is organized by "INNOKAM" Association with support of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, "RVK" Joint-Stock Company, the National Research University "Higher School of Economics".
Oleg Pelevin noted that the conference is being held for the fourth time. This year it will be held under the auspices of the global network of specialists on clusters, innovations and competitiveness of TCI Network.
Over 500 people are expected to attend the event. These are representatives of government bodies and development institutions of all levels, small and medium-sized businesses, scientific and educational community, cluster organizations and cluster development centers, innovation infrastructure facilities from the regions of the Russian Federation, experts from Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. Today, representatives from 25 regions of Russia and 6 foreign countries have confirmed their participation.
This year the conference will be devoted to discussion of topical issues of participation of regions and clusters in implementation of national projects and federal initiatives. “The key topics for discussion will be: creation of tools of dialogue between government, business, education and science, as well as determining the place and role of clusters in implementation of national projects”, said Vice President of the INNOCAM Association Leisan Abzalilova. - A whole block of measures is connected with digitalization of global and regional economies, transformation of business processes and formation of new business models”. In the framework of the round table “Digital Platforms for Development of Innovation Activities”, a new Internet portal “Russian Center for Open Innovations” will be presented, which is intended to become a communication platform that brings together players from the Russian market for open innovations.
During the event, participants, in particular, small and medium-sized businesses, will be able to familiarize themselves with measures of non-financial support for exporters and ways to promote technologies and products to foreign markets.
In the format of an open dialogue, representatives of Russian and foreign cluster organizations will consider the best practices in development of biomedical clusters.
On the final day of the conference, familiarization tours will be organized to a number of facilities of innovation, educational and sports infrastructure of Tatarstan.
As the speakers noted, the main result of the conference should be development of a vision of regions and clusters for participation in new federal initiatives, formation of priorities for regional development in the context of national projects.
