On behalf of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and myself personally, I congratulate you on your professional holiday - the Day of Inventor and Innovator.
This is a significant event for the innovation community of the republic. We are rightly proud of the people who create domestic intellectual capital, make a significant contribution to the development of technology, improving the competitiveness of enterprises and domestic industry.
Improving the efficiency of the national economy and ensuring the competitiveness of products is impossible without the development of intellectual property.
The Republic of Tatarstan was the first among the regions of the Russian Federation to sign an agreement on cooperation in support of intellectual property development with the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and the Federal Service for Intellectual Property.
Today, Tatarstan has already formed an extensive regulatory and infrastructural base for managing intellectual property, the only program in the Russian Federation for the development of the intellectual property market is being implemented, and active interaction with federal structures and development institutions is underway. All this contributes to intensification of mass inventive activity in the republic.
