Rukami Festival of Ideas and Technologies

From 15 to 16 June 2019 Kazan hosts Rukami Festival of Ideas and Technologies at the site of the exhibition center “Kazan Fair”.

Rukami is a network of technical creativity festivals aimed at developing a community of makers in Russia (inventors creating completely new products using simple improvised tools and technologies).

The project of the Circle Movement of the National Technology Initiative, implemented by the team of the Russian Venture Company and the NTI Project Support Fund, includes the annual international festival in Moscow, a series of events in the regions, as well as educational activities aimed at improving the competencies of the management teams of technology circles.

The Festival will present inventions and best practices of the circle movement for children and young people. Master classes, lectures and demonstration shows will be held in various thematic areas.

Also within the framework of the Festival a business program with participation of federal guests is planned.

More than 2,000 visitors aged from 7 years from Kazan and districts of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as more than 400 inventors and technological enthusiasts are expected to participate in the Festival.
