On April 17, development of exports in agro-industrial complex was discussed at the House of Entrepreneur.

The Forum for Development of Exports of Agricultural and Industrial Complex for Small Agricultural Producers was held at the House of Entrepreneur.

The main topics of discussion were the output of agricultural products to the foreign market, prospects for the export of halal and agricultural products, as well as its customs regulation. The event was attended by entrepreneurs, representatives of republican ministries and departments, as well as experts from the Kazan Cooperative Institute.

“By the end of the year, it is planned to export 90 enterprises, including agricultural ones. To support future exporters and minimize their costs associated with entering foreign markets, we are ready to subsidize up to 80% of the cost of obtaining an international certificate, conduct seminars on foreign economic activity, assist in collecting analytics on foreign markets. Entrepreneurs can get information about all available opportunities in the House of Entrepreneur”, said the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, Farid Abdulganiyev.

Let us recall that in 2018, exports of agricultural products in the Republic of Tatarstan amounted to 182.1 million dollars.

As part of the regional project “Export Development in the Republic of Tatarstan for the period 2019-2024”, it is planned to achieve the volume of exports of agricultural products up to 359.9 million dollars, the planned figure for 2021 is 327.8 million dollars.

As measures to further exports support, the forum participants considered issues of drawing up a roadmap for development of agro-industrial exports, a register of potential cooperators and a catalog of export opportunities for small and medium-sized agricultural producers of the Republic of Tatarstan.
