The delegation from Tatarstan discussed the experiment on partner financing with the Deputy Chairman of the Bank of Russia

The Central Bank of Russia hosted a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov and a State Duma deputy Maxim Topilin with State Secretary - Deputy Chairman of the Bank of Russia Alexey Guznov.

During the meeting, systemic issues were discussed, the progress of the experiment, an action plan for the development of partner (Islamic) finance, the upcoming KazanForum 2024, and a single portal was presented (http://ifhub.ru ). 

On September 1, 2023, a two-year experiment on the introduction of partner (Islamic) financing began in four regions of Russia - Tatarstan, Bashkiria, Chechnya and Dagestan.
