Chairman of VEB.RF Igor Shuvalov assessed the Chelny production facilities on the territory of the Kama Industrial Park "Master"

As part of the business mission of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) and VEB.RF to the Republic of Tatarstan, the chairman of VEB.RF Igor Shuvalov visited the Kama Industrial Park "Master", where he got acquainted with the work of two production facilities. The head was accompanied by the Mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny Nail Magdeev, Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midhat Shagiakhmetov, top management of KAMAZ PJSC.

During the working visit, the Chairman of VEB.RF Igor Shuvalov got acquainted with the work of two production facilities: Polychem Systems (production of adhesives and mounting foams), Indunklach (production of hubs for KAMAZ).

The General Director of KIP "Master" Farid Zakirov presented the main indicators of the industrial park. Currently, 290 enterprises are operating on the premises of KIP Master occupied by renters, in which 12,580 people are employed. The estimated total turnover of all renter enterprises in 2023 amounted to 180 billion rubles, the total amount of tax payments to budgets of all levels amounted to about 19 billion rubles.

Farid Zakirov also spoke about the implementation of a new project to create an industrial technopark "Olympus", which involves the completion of the construction of an administrative and household building with a total area of 13,048 square meters and the construction of a building with a laboratory complex with a total area of 1,633.80 square meters. It will focus on the production of innovative electronic control systems for vehicles with hydrogen fuel cells and electric traction. The volume of investments will amount to 11 billion rubles. The sources of financing are subsidies from the budget of the Russian Federation in the amount of 900 million rubles, as well as financing from the budget of the Republic of Tatarstan – 600 million rubles.

It should be noted that now ten residents of the Naberezhnye Chelny advanced development area have placed their production on the territory of KIP Master, one of them is Polychem Systems.

The management of the Polychem Systems company said that they use their own product implementation system: "If we talk about directions, these are three main blocks: adhesives, foam, special chemicals. We have unique solutions for the mining industry, for example, with our products it is possible to avoid the collapse of mines by using special resin."

Igor Shuvalov was shown the process of materials creation.

Igor Shuvalov, together with the delegation, also got acquainted with the production of clutch disc kits from the Chelny company Indunklach.

The Master Industrial Park was established 20 years ago with the aim of developing the infrastructure of small and medium-sized enterprises, primarily operating in the manufacturing sector. Most of the premises are leased to enterprises focused on servicing the machine-building cluster of the Republic of Tatarstan. More than 54% of the revenue of the residents of the industrial park is generated by enterprises operating in the field of mechanical engineering. The experience of creating and developing KIP "Master" is successfully replicated in other regions of the Russian Federation both at the facilities of KAMAZ Group of Companies and on third-party projects implementing programs to improve the efficiency of using production facilities. Similar projects are being implemented in the Yaroslavl, Ulyanovsk and Penza regions, as well as in the Stavropol Territory and the Republic of Bashkortostan.
