Social entrepreneurs were handed certificates for the right to receive a grant
On September 3, a solemn presentation of certificates to graduates of the advanced training program "Project Management in the field of social Entrepreneurship" took place at Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University. The certificate gives the right to apply for a grant of up to 500 thousand rubles under the national project "Small and medium-sized entrepreneurship and support for individual entrepreneurial initiative". The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan is engaged in the implementation of the project in Tatarstan.
The certificates were presented by the deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Honored Doctor of the Republic of TatarstanAirat Farrakhov.
«Social entrepreneurs play a special role in the life of societies. They are the mainstay of the state in a significant number of areas, and we have once again seen this today. Of course, the state should help such entrepreneurs in response, which we can see now. The Ministry of Economy, the Entrepreneurship Support Fund, the Commissioner for Entrepreneurs' Rights and other structures are actively working in the republic. There are many different programs. The main thing is to be active, monitor the opportunities and use them. It is gratifying that the oldest university in Russia is also an active participant in these processes," Airat Zakievich shared after the meeting.
78 people representing social enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan received practical training on the development of social and entrepreneurial projects. These are kindergartens, early development centers, speech therapy centers, children's sports schools, language schools, creative studios, children's sports and recreation camps and sanatoriums, boarding houses for the elderly, rehabilitation centers, museums, theaters, as well as production organizations that employ people from socially vulnerable categories.
The training was organized in a combined format and contained such topics as: Promising areas and areas for social entrepreneurship; Generating and testing business hypotheses; Customer development. Marketing; Optimization of business processes, improvement of a product/service; Attraction of financing; Presentation of projects, promotion in communities and the Internet.
However, most of the time was devoted to individual work on the preparation of projects that social entrepreneurs will be able to submit for grants from the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan in the future. A grant of up to 500 thousand rubles is an unprecedented measure of support from the state, which has become available since 2021.

In fact, this is a real preparation of the project for the grant application."
The training that social entrepreneurs have received for free is also one of the support measures provided by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and the subordinate structure – the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan. In addition, preferential microloans, payment for participation in exhibition and fair events, consultations, etc. are available to social enterprises. Applications for the status of "social enterprise" are accepted until December 31.
