The meeting of the working group on the implementation of the Action Plan to ensure the sustainable development of the Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan was held at the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan. The members of the working group discussed the changes in the legislation that expand the access of SME to the procurement of state-owned companies and corporations and the amendments to the draft law "On Insolvency (Bankruptcy)".

Tatarstan continues to implement a preferential lending program at 3% – "FOT 3.0". As of May 17, banks have satisfied 350 applications from Tatarstan entrepreneurs in the amount of 1.13 billion rubles.

Aliya Abdukayeva, a young scientist of the State Financed Institution "Center for Advanced Economic Research of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan", became the winner of the republican contest of young scientists in the "GRANT" category. The competition is held by the Committee for awarding grants and prizes of the Republic of Tatarstan under the Presidium of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan to promote scientific research of young scientists and youth research teams in the most promising and significant areas for the development of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Improving the quality of drinking water for residents of the Republic is provided by the "Clean Water" regional project, included in the "Housing and Urban Environment" national project. In 2021, 3.5 billion rubles will be allocated for the implementation of the national project in Tatarstan, in addition to providing citizens with clean drinking water; the project includes measures to resettle citizens from emergency housing and create a comfortable living environment.
