Tomorrow Gaidar Forum is starting
XII Gaidar Forum “Russian Federation and the world after the pandemic” will be held on 14 and 15 of January on site of Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA). President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov will take part in the forum.
Annual international research and practice conference “Gaidar forum” is Russian political-economical event of great importance with participation of influential experts from all over the world. The forum is held from 2010.
Forum discussions traditionally focused on pressing issues of modern times. Particular significance is placed on subjects concerning understanding of position and strategic role of Russian Federation in the world.
Due to epidemiological restrictions forum will be held in joint format in 2021: experts and speakers will take part in panel discussions on
RANEPA site, and participants will be able to watch discussions online.
New Gaidar forum will be the most accessible out of all the other held earlier: there is no need for prior registration to watch broadcasts — they will be freely available both in English and in Russian. Live coverage is free and available for everyone to see on the website.
It is planned to discuss economic policy, challenges for public health service and education, problematics of labor market and foreign economic activities, state administration and digitalization, ecology issues, enterprise and regional development, new growth points and other relevant topics.
There is everything about main socio-economic and political development, Russia’s business landscape status and investment, prospects of future economic growth and Russian Federation’s integration into global economy in the forum’s schedule.
Thanks to online format of the forum, more than 130 events are planned to be held in two days — much more than usual.
More than 350 experts and speakers will participate in panel sessions on main campus of RANEPA, where 9 television studios will be professionally assembled.
