Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov visited an industrial park on the territory of Technopolis “Khimgrad”, where construction work under the national project “Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives” is being completed.
According to the national project, nine production facilities with a total area of 31.8 thousand square meters will be reconstructed in the industrial park by 2021. In April of this year, four premises with a total area of 15.4 thousand square meters were put into operation. Now the reconstruction of five premises with a total area of 16.4 thousand square meters is being completed.
During the visit, Midkhat Shagiakhmetov was informed that the heating circuit of these facilities is currently closed, and external communications have been connected. It is planned that the facilities will be commissioned in the 1st quarter of 2021.
The implementation of this two-year project will allow placing an additional 47 residents and creating about 444 new jobs. Currently, following the results of the first project, 15 companies have been attracted and 348 new jobs have been created. Residents manufacture equipment for concrete plants, aeration systems for biological wastewater treatment, innovative polymer compounds, and build boats for sport fishing and recreation.
In 2020, new production facilities were also opened in the industrial park “Saba”, and the industrial park “Tyulyachi” is equipped with the necessary engineering infrastructure for residents: internal power supply networks, outdoor lighting, external communication and signaling networks, water supply and sewerage systems, as well as road facilities, fire tanks installed.
The work was carried out as part of implementation of the national project “Small and Medium Business and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives” and was aimed at providing preferential access for small and medium-sized businesses to production areas and premises in order to create (develop) production and innovative companies.
