Unscheduled checks of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs are planned to be reduced

Within scope of the meeting on the issues of implementation of major investment projects the President of the Russian Federation - Vladimir Putin, gave instructions to the Government of the Russian Federation and the General Prosecutor’s Office of the RF to introduce amendments into the legislation of the Russian Federation, related to execution of unscheduled checks by the state authorities, carrying out the state control (supervision).

In particular, it is anticipated that amendments into the control legislation (supervision) will provide that:

-         the number of unplanned inspections would be 30% of the planned ones;

-         the date of the unscheduled inspection shall be not more than 10 days;

-         the subject of inspection will be the facts, being the cause of its initiation.

Checks, caused by the threat or injury to the life and health of citizens, animals, plants, the environment, cultural heritage sites, as well as threats to natural and man-made emergencies, may be the exception.

These legislative amendments to the legislation should be prepared by December 1.
