The Congress of entrepreneurs of Naberezhnye Chelny and INNOKAM regions is being held in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny

The Congress of entrepreneurs of Naberezhnye Chelny and INNOKAM regions is being held in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny. The event is attended by deputies of the Council of State of the Republic of Tatarstan and City Council, officials of Executive bodies, heads of large businesses and representatives of small and medium-sized businesses of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny and INNOKAM areas, financial institutions, public associations of entrepreneurs, socially oriented non-profit organizations, academic institutions, universities, and secondary specialized colleges , heads of the regulatory bodies.  Deputy Minister - Natalia Tarkaeva took part from the part of the Russian Ministry of Economy.

Prior to the Congress and according to the tradition the exhibition of products, manufactured by the enterprises, was arranged for the participants.  Elaborations of car building industry, food and processing industries as well as  inventions were represented in the expositions 

Achievements of residents of the territory of advanced economic development Naberezhnye Chelny were demonstrated to the guests as a separate block. To date 9 of them have been registered, but by the end of the year this figure should become bigger.

While opening the work of the business forum, Timur Nagumanov - the authorized person for protection of entrepreneurs' rights under the President of Tatarstan read out the message from the President of the Republic of Tatarstan - Rustam Minnikhanov to participants of the Congress.  "One of the most important key factors for economic growth  - is a development of small and medium sized entrepreneurship , - is said in the President’s welcoming -  This direction, together with increase of investment attractiveness and lowering administrative barriers,  is fixed in the Strategy of social economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan until 2010". 

The President stresses, that the required environment was created in the republic,  a complex of measures, including long term investments, but at the same time it is necessary to strengthen the work of state authorities and local self government in the issues of entrepreneurship development, reduce administrative barriers. 

Head of the work group for modernization of single-industry towns under the governmental Ccmmission for economic development and integration - Irina Makieva sent a video message to the participants of the Congress of entrepreneurs. 

 Naberezhnye Chelny -  is the first from the single industry towns, which received the status of the territory of advanced economic development. I think it is very important for business. .. And as of today already 9 enterprises are residents of the territory of advanced economic development.

 Naberezhnye Chelny has been always showing a steady growth. I know how how the people of this town address to small and medium-sized entrepreneurship. If it was bad, there wouldn't be such a big army of business, thanks to which the city of Naberezhnye Chelny is developing. 30 thousand of SME-  is a huge figure for the city, said Irina Makieva in her address.

The City Mayor - Nail Magdeev noted, that Congress of entrepreneurs of Naberezhnye Chelny and INNOKAM regions, which was held in the autograd for the second time, would help to improve the economic situation in Naberezhnye Chelny. “All the work with entrepreneurs should be conducted in a dialogue mode. The positive economic climate of the city depends from small, medium and large businesses, so all the issues with entrepreneurs should be solved gradually with”- , he said.

The City Mayor noted that more than 30% of gross territorial product was accounted to the subjects of small and medium-sized businesses. The share of tax revenues to the city budget is growing annually . According to the results of the 2016 year it amounted to 34 percent. 

The share of turnover of small and medium-sized enterprises for the last five years  increased to 28%. and totaled to 162 billion roubles. A growing share of processing industry ( from 14.2% to 16.7%). It is directly connected with the programmes of financial and infrastructural support of industrial companies.

For the last 5 years 180 companies have received subsidies under programs of the Russian Ministry of Economy for the amount of 271.2 million rubles. In the current year the city will receive the grant from the from the Republican budget in the amount of 47.6 million rubles under the programs “Leasing Grant”. The contest is declared, the accepting of applications will begin on June 1. Also the share of participation in state and municipal procureements amounts to 86 per cent. 

“At the next Congress of entrepreneurs we need to sum up the results of a two year work, since there are questions posed by life itself. The economic situation as well as the working conditions in our city have changed - the city got the status of Priority Social and Economic Development Area,” - noted the Mayor.

The Congress will take place in the motor city all day long. The themes for discussion within the framework of round tables on the development of export potential of the Zakamsk region, the development of youth entrepreneurship were prepared for the participants.
