Issues on organization and holding of WorldSkills World Championship - 2019 in Kazan and “Entrepreneur Factory” support measures were discussed in ANCO “Agency for Strategic Initiatives to promote new projects”

Artem Zdunov, Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in the meeting with Agency for Strategic Initiatives to promote new projects” (hereinafter - ASI) Management on the 6th of April 2017 as a member of the Republic of Tatarstan delegation, headed by Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Svetlana Chupsheva, ASI Director General, Dmitry Peskov, Director of ASI “Young Professionals” and Igor Karachin, Director of ASI Communications took part in the working meeting on behalf of the Agency.

The Republic of Tatarstan representatives reported on preparations for World Skills-2019 Worker Occupations’ Championship in Kazan, including all necessary infrastructures. Also, intention and proposals for further use of the WorldSkills Championship facilities after its finalizing were discussed.

“Entrepreneur Factory” project implemented jointly with the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and Kazan (Volga region) Federal University with support of ASI Representative Office in the Volga Federal District was discussed within the framework of the meeting. The aim of the project is to promote entrepreneurship.

“Entrepreneur Factory” implements educational projects for people wishing to start their own business: first-time entrepreneurs, students, high school students, and people of preretirement age. One of the features of the program is availability of mentors - accomplished businessmen who help the beginners to start their own businesses.

A project for development of educational program and training of business coaches for beginners and current entrepreneurs training throughout Russia was implemented by “Entrepreneur Factory” team from Tatarstan in 2016, on the order of the Corporation for Small and Medium-Enterprises.

Strategic Initiative Agency intends to support the “Entrepreneur Factory” and assist in replicating this project in other regions of Russia.
