On March 5, 2015 in the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan discussion of the draft of the Plan of measures on realization of Strategy of social and economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan for the period till 2030 in the Spatial and Territorial Development direction took place. Participants discussed the offered actions for realization of Strategy of spatial development of Tatarstan and formation of a three-nuclear Volga-Kamsky metropolis of the network type uniting three agglomerations: Kazan, Kamsky and Almetyevsk, and also actions for achievement of high rates of quality of transport and communication system which is aimed at providing a synergy of all internal, interagglomerative and interregional transport directions.
The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and the My Business Center, within the framework of the national project "Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurship", continue to accept applications from businesses in the region for the Entrepreneur of the Year competition. Golden Hundred – 2024"
The Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation hosted a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midkhat Shagiakhmetov and State Duma deputies Maxim Topilin and Airat Farrakhov with Ivan Chebeskov, Head of the Expert Council under the Government of the Russian Federation on partner finance, Deputy Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation.
