Today the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov met with members of the Federal Assembly and Deputies of the Federal Assembly of the State Duma from the Republic of Tatarstan.

 

On December 21, speaking at the 12th Congress of the Council of Municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan, Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin said that preliminary results of the expiring year make it possible to draw a conclusion on the positive pace of economic development of the republic.

 

Under the Decrees of the Government of the Russian Federation of 22 December 2017, it was decided to establish advanced social and economic development zones (hereinafter - ASED zones) in the single-industry cities of Nizhnekamsk, Zelenodolsk, and Chistopol, in the framework of collaboration of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and local authorities of the Nizhnekamsk, Zelenodolsk, and Chistopol municipal districts, in order to reduce the mono-dependence.

In total, it is expected that the status of an ASED zone will enable the single-industry cities of Zelenodolsk, Nizhnekamsk, and Chistopol to create, at least, 7,000 permanent new jobs over 10 years, attract at least 76 ASED zone residents, with investments reaching 23.7 billion rubles, including capital investments (without VAT) of 19 billion rubles.

 

On 28 to 29 June 2018, Moscow will host the annual XI Forum of Business Partnerships "Russia-Europe: Cooperation without Borders". On the first day of the Forum, members will discuss "Trade and Economic Relations: Russia-Europe and Interregional Cooperation", "Business Transformation in the Digital Age: Advantages of European Companies in Russia ".

The second day will be devoted to negotiations between Russian and European companies, Russian potential investors, and agencies, to attract investments from European countries.

Industrial companies of the Republic of Tatarstan are invited to present their investment projects and offers for business cooperation.
