The industrial production index of Tatarstan in January-February 2020 amounted to 105.1%

According to the data of Tatarstanstat, in January-February 2020, the industrial production index amounted to 105.1% to the level of the corresponding period of 2019, the volume of shipped products, in turn, was 433.3 billion rubles.

In mining, the production index amounted to 101.3% compared to January-February 2019, in manufacturing - 109.4%, in the supply of electric energy, gas, steam; air conditioning - 93.3%, in water supply; water disposal, waste collection and disposal, pollution elimination activities - 90.1%.

The growth relative to January-February last year was observed in the following manufacturing industries: in production of coke and petroleum products - 119.6%, rubber and plastic products - 125.5%, medicines and materials used for medical purposes - 168.8%, food products - 129.1%, drinks - 114.3%, finished metal products, except machinery and equipment - 101.0%, electrical equipment - 117.0%, metallurgical production - 132.9%, production of other non-metallic mineral products - 103.7%, paper and paper products - 109.5%, furniture - 101.9%, textile products - 112.1%.

In the structure of industry, the share of mining amounted to 25.3%, manufacturing - 66.7%, providing electric energy, gas and steam; air conditioning - 7.1%, water supply; water disposal, organization of waste collection and disposal, pollution elimination activities - 0.9%.
