10 new PSEDA residents at once in the Republic

During the meeting of the Commission chaired By Prime Minister Alexei Pesoshin to consider applications for agreements on the implementation of activities in the territories of advanced socio-economic development, it was decided to approve 10 companies in the status of residents at once. They will be located on the PSEDA "Zelenodolsk", "Mendeleevsk" and "Chistopol".

Today, at a meeting of the Commission chaired by Prime Minister of the Republic Alexei Pesoshin, "TMK Group" logistics company, technoflex manufacturer of thermal and sound insulation materials, as well as Wildberries and Ozon e-Commerce operators were approved as residents of "Zelenodolsk" PSEDA. The companies will build warehouse complexes in Zelenodolsk.

The first phase of the Wildberries logistics hub is expected to be launched in the first half of 2020. The project, with a total investment of 5.5 billion rubles, will create about 4 thousand jobs. OZON group of companies together with "Romex-Kuban" will invest 2.9 billion rubles in the construction of the logistics center. The distribution center of the online trading operator will open in the third quarter of 2020, the project will create about 2 thousand new jobs. 

On the territory of the industrial site "Zelenodolsk" opened a new wholesale and distribution center "Kazan" network retailer X5 Retail Group, whose work will increase the share of local producers in the supply of Tatarstan, Udmurtia, Mari El and Chuvashia.

"In 2019, we focused on the work to attract investors to PSEDA. The implementation of these investment projects contributes to solving the problems of social and economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan, including diversification of the economy of single-industry towns. The projects will give impetus to investment development of the internal territories of Tatarstan and will become a key tool for bringing local producers to the national and international markets. In addition, it will allow to develop related industries and involve SME companies in the business process. In particular, they can be involved in the production of packaging containers, pallets, transport logistics, " the Minister of economy of the RT Farid Abdulganiev said.

The youngest territory of advanced socio-economic development "Mendeleevsk" today officially received its first residents. They became the producer of toners "Concern Karpov", the producer of compound feeds "Agrofirm "Barsak", the producer of regenerate from a rubber crumb "Chisteks".

The changes concerned also the PSEDA "Naberezhnye Chelny". The current residents decided to change the economic indicators of the projects, increase capex and the number of jobs created. Thus, Haier for its plant for the production of household appliances in Naberezhnye Chelny will attract almost 1.4 thousand employees instead of 757, as previously planned. The factory for the production of refrigerators 800 instead of 375.

In Chistopol their production will open "Foundry-mechanical plant", "Chistopol plastics plant", the manufacturer of purified flax fiber "Chistex".
