Russian Federation and Wildberries will help Tatarstan monotowns business to develop online trade

The Monocities Fund of the Russian Federation and the largest e-Commerce operator Wildberries have jointly developed a set of measures to support entrepreneurs from Russian monocities. The action plan to promote the products of local manufacturers through the resources of the Internet hypermarket was signed by Irina Makieva, CEO of the mono-cities development Fund, and Tatiana Bakalchuk, CEO of the online retailer.

When placing products on the electronic trading platform Wildberries, goods produced in single-industry towns of Tatarstan-Zelenodolsk, Naberezhnye Chelny, Yelabuga, Mendeleevsk, Kama Glades, Chistopol and Nizhnekamsk-are planned to be additionally branded. The label will indicate a specially designed logo of the project - "MadeinMono". It is expected that this will allow the business to increase the awareness of its products and increase the level of sales. From July 2019, entrepreneurs will also have access to consulting support in e-Commerce expertise Centers opened at the initiative of the parties.

In addition, the Monocity Fund. RF will assist Wildberries in the implementation of investment projects. In particular, support can be provided to projects for the construction Of Wildberries distribution and storage complexes in single-industry towns. Recall, one of these optimistic hubs is currently under construction in Zelenodolsk. The first phase of the new center is expected to be commissioned in 2020. The total area of the project will be 100 thousand square meters. The volume of investments is expected at the level of 5 billion rubles, the company will create about 5 thousand jobs.
