Nizhnekamsk is finalist of the national award "Business Success»
In Vyksa, Nizhny Novgorod region, the 91st open interregional stage of the national award "Business Success" was held in the framework of the all-Russian forum " MONOTOWNS. Business Success.» Nizhnekamsk became the winner in the nomination "Best municipal entrepreneurship support and investment climate improving".
Nizhnekamsk showed the best result among the regions of the Volga region, the delegation from the region received a symbolic prize - "Golden Jack" and an invitation to the final of the competition, which will be held in Moscow. The main prize will be 1 million rubles for the development of the territory.
The success of Nizhnekamsk in developing the investment climate and supporting small and medium-sized businesses has been repeatedly noted in the framework of this business award. In 2017, the President of "Opora Russia" Alexander Kalinin praised the work of the Nizhnekamsk center for support and development of entrepreneurship, which was then only a year old, as "strong".
According to the chief specialist of department for entrepreneurship support of the Executive Committee of Nizhnekamsk Ayrat Sharipov, the development of business infrastructure in the city has become possible due to the development programmes of the municipalities that was elaborated with the participation of RT Ministry of economy. The programmes contain roadmaps for all initiatives planned up to 2023.
"Together with the Ministry of economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, attracting investments and creating infrastructure for the development of small and medium-sized businesses was identified as a priority for the region. With the participation of the Minister of economy, agreements were signed with leasing companies and banks-on preferential loan support for entrepreneurs, a "School for young entrepreneurs" was opened. Our portfolio now includes 55 investment projects, including social and agricultural projects aimed at supporting farms in the region," Ayrat Sharipov said.
According to the program of development of small and medium-sized businesses of the district, by 2022 the share of SMEs in the gross territorial product of the district will be 15%, and the number of companies in this category of business will exceed 10 thousand. At the end of 2018, the share of SMEs in the gross territorial product of the whole Republic was 13.2%. As of September 1, 2019, 17 investment projects worth 3.7 billion rubles were implemented in the district, which allowed to create 432 new jobs.
Special attention is paid to the development of infrastructure in the district. Thus, the amount of investment in the industrial Park "Nizhnekamsk" amounted to 1.5 billion rubles, in the industrial Park "Kamskie Polyany" - 3 billion rubles, industrial Park "pioneer" - 500 million rubles. The implementation of the projects allowed to employ more than 1.5 thousand people.
The removal of infrastructure restrictions significantly affected the implementation of new investment projects in the single-industry city. In many respects it became possible thanks to assistance of Fund of development of monotowns. Currently, with the co-financing of the Fund, the reconstruction of the highway along Chistopolskaya street leading to the new industrial Park "Pioneer" is also underway in the city.
