New investment project for development of rural entrepreneurship was supported in Baltasinskiy district

Thanks to a loan of 337 million rubles, a new dairy farm for 1,000 cattle will be created in Baltasinskiy district of the Republic of Tatarstan. The investment project is aimed at expanding the production capacity of the Kyzyl Yul enterprise.

Thanks to the support of the Ministry of Economy, the company was able to implement a large investment project worth 449.85 million rubles. Of these, 337.67 million rubles - borrowed funds that were allocated at the rate of 5%.

The funds will be directed to the construction of a dairy farm with a milking and dairy unit, which will increase the economic efficiency of the enterprise, which represents one of the priority directions of development of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Tatarstan.

“Among the regions of Russia, Tatarstan ranks first in milk production and, possesses 2.4% of the country's farmland, produces about 4.2% of agricultural products in Russia. Support for rural entrepreneurs has been and remains one of the key tasks for development of the Republic’s economy”, said the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, Farid Abdulganiyev.

The success story of farmer Ferdinad Khairullin shows that the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan is ready to become a reliable financial partner in the field of agriculture”, commented Timur Temirgaliyev, Director of the Guarantee Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Let us recall that from the beginning of the year, rural entrepreneurs received guarantees of 19.4 million rubles through the Guarantee Fund under the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan. In addition to guarantees, grant support and subsidies for reimbursement of the cost of purchasing agricultural products are available for entrepreneurship in rural areas.

Also one of the areas of work of the Ministry of Economy in development of village is the creation of a network of agro-industrial parks, including in rural areas.

Thus, at the end of 2018, a “pilot”  agropark was built in Zainsk town (currently, commissioning works are underway). It is planned to build 17 rural agro-industrial parks in 14 major cities of the republic and in Shali village of Pestrechinskiy district. Of these, in the cities of Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk, Almetyevsk, Zelenodolsk, Bugulma, Elabuga, Leninogorsk, Chistopol, Aznakayevo, Nurlat, Bavly, Mendeleyevsk, Arsk, Kazan, construction will be completed by the end of 2020. The next stage envisages the construction of rural agro-industrial parks in the remaining municipal districts of the republic.

In 2019, 2 billion rubles were allocated to support small and medium-sized businesses in the countryside.
