The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan organized a consultation with the self-employed. Regional representatives of “My Business” center appeared in 45 municipalities of the republic, who inform the self-employed and help with registration in “My Tax” system.

In addition, an autonomous non-profit organization Self-Employed Support Center, has been created in Tatarstan, offering citizens free information, consulting and educational programs aimed at explaining the conditions and procedures for applying the new tax regime.

A section on application of the special tax regime “Tax on professional income” was created on the information resource “Proverennyi Business (Verified Business)”. Experts of the Verified Business portal also provide free advice to both entrepreneurs and self-employed citizens, promptly and competently answering emerging issues related to the use of the new tax regime.

“The question on possibility of obtaining financial support for self-employed remains actual”, said Rustem Sibgatullin. - It is important to provide self-employed with the opportunity to receive soft loans. A similar task already stands and is being solved by AO “SME Corporation” together with AO “SME Bank”.

According to the Deputy Minister, the implementation of the pilot project will have a favorable impact on the socio-economic climate of Tatarstan. “One of the positive effects of the implementation of the special tax regime “Tax on professional income” will be a reduction in the overall unemployment rate and the share of shadow employment in the region”, he said.
