Retail trade turnover in January-February 2019 amounted to 143.5 billion rubles

According to the data of Tatarstanstat in the Republic of Tatarstan, in January-February 2019, the industrial production index was 100.1% compared to the corresponding period of 2018.

In mining, the production index was 102.6% compared to January-February 2018, processing industries - 97.6%, provision of electric energy, gas, steam; air conditioning - 104.2%, water supply; wastewater disposal, organization of waste collection and disposal, pollution control activities - 100.5%.

In January-February 2019, agricultural organizations, large, medium-sized farms and individual entrepreneurs produced livestock and poultry for slaughter (live weight) 60.1 thousand tons, which is 0.5% higher than the figure for the same period in 2018. Milk production amounted to 204.3 thousand tons (103.1% compared to January-February 2018), eggs - 187.7 million units (119.6%).

The volume of construction work amounted to 25.3 billion rubles, or 91.9% in comparable prices compared to January-February 2018. 490.4 thousand square meters of housing was commissioned, including the social mortgage program introduced 95.3 thousand square meters, which is 19.4% of the total area of ​​the commissioned housing.

Consumer activity of the population remains. Retail trade turnover in January-February 2019 amounted to 143.5 billion rubles, or 103.9% in comparable prices compared to January-February 2018. The largest share in the retail trade turnover was occupied by non-food products - 57.8%. The share of food products, including beverages and tobacco, in January-February 2019 was 42.2%. There is an increase in the volume of paid services rendered to the population, compared with January-February 2018 by 4.2%.
