Farid Abdulganiev: "The economy maintains positive dynamics". Tatarstan is among the leading regions of the Russian Federation
Tatarstan is again one of the leading regions of the Russian Federation by macroeconomic indicators. The results of the first quarter of this year were summed up. Among the subjects of the Russian Federation, Tatarstan is the 4th in terms of industrial production, the 3rd in terms of housing commissioning and the 6th in terms of construction.
Gross regional product increased by 0.7% amounting to RUR 534.1 billion. The main contribution to the economic development was made by industry, agriculture and trade. The index of industrial production amounted to 100.4% compared to the corresponding period in 2017, the volume of released products amounted to RUR 622.1 billion.
Steady positive growth in noted in the production of: motor vehicles - 112.5% to the 1st quarter of 2017, machines and equipment - 116.6%, food products - 111.7%, petroleum products - 105.8%, textile - 125.1%, paper and paper products - 153.5%.
The production of cars increased by 55.4% compared to the 1st quarter of 2017, production of trucks increased by 24.2%, gasoline by 48.7%, diesel fuel by 17.1%, butter and butter pastes by 7%, processed milk by 11%.
Since the beginning of 2018, there is an increasing trend in the people's incomes compared to the previous year. According to the results of January-February 2018, the average per capita incomes of the population increased by 7.3% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year and amounted to RUR 28,115.4. Real incomes amounted to 105.5%.
