The procedure for submission of documents required for adoption of a child is simplified
On December 30th, 2017, the Government of the Russian Federation adopted a decree No. 1716 "On amending certain acts of the Government of the Russian Federation on adoption of orphans and children without parental care by families".
The amendments concern the simplification of procedure for citizens to submit applications and documents necessary for obtaining certificates enabling them to become adopters, guardians (custodians) or foster parents.
Documents, that will be requested by the guardianship and custodianship authorities directly from the relevant authorized bodies within the framework of interdepartmental information interaction, are excluded from the list of documents submitted directly to the guardianship and custodianship authorities.
