The expansion of sales markets for local producers was discussed at the meeting of the Working Group

The first kick-off meeting of the Work Group took place on November 23, 2017 for expansion of sales markets for local producers, chaired by the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, Artem Zdunov.

The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan and other substantive agencies that are involved in supporting local producers as well as representatives of international trade networks and local producers.

In the course of the meeting, the participants heard the reports of the participants of the Work Group on opportunities and challenges of expanding the sales markets by local producers. The discussion showed that the main problem in dialogue with retailers - was the complex and strict terms of cooperation. The dialogue discussed solutions of the above problems.

The participants of the Working Group stressed the importance of increasing interest in working with trade networks and taking active part in the participation of producers.
